A Virginia Beach native, Dr. Vesely is happy to be returning to the Hampton Roads area to practice. She completed an orthopedic foot and ankle surgical fellowship at Desert Orthopaedic Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, and previously completed her podiatric surgical residency at a Level 1 trauma center at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  

During her fellowship, she participated as a team physician for the Las Vegas Raiders (NFL), UFC Fighters, Las Vegas Aces (WNBA), and Cirque de Soleil performers.  She completed a high-level of training to specialize in the most up-to-date technology and cutting-edge surgical interventions including minimally invasive surgery, sports medicine injuries, and advanced reconstruction. She is actively involved in research, authoring several peer-reviewed journals and has lectured at national and local podiatric and orthopedic meetings.

A former ballerina, talented dancer and teacher, Dr. Vesely is also known on TikTok as @thedancingfootdoc where she discusses foot and ankle issues from not only a physician’s perspective, but also that of a dancer who understands the complex and often painful relationship that dancers (or any athletes) have with their feet and ankles.
